| COLANGELO ASSOCIATES ARCHITECTS is a full service architectural firm that has designed several residences across Fairfield and Westchester counties, ranging from modest house additions to lavish estates. We have also designed numerous office buildings and perform a variety of consulting services. OUR PHILOSOPHY of design begins with the belief that the relationship of structure to site is the most critical decision, both economically and esthetically. OUR STAFF is thoroughly versed in the areas of landscape design, structural analysis and construction technology. Principal VINCENT COLANGELO (R.A., NCARB), is licensed in forty-three states and is personally involved in all the stages of each project. Project Architects BRIAN STONE (B.ARCH) and ALEJANDRA NUÑEZ MARCOS (BFA-ARCH), as well as interior designer ROSSANA COLANGELO (NYSID), complete our design team that takes every project from start to finish. During the past ten years, CAA has evolved into a totally "electronic" office. Our projects are now developed digitally in three dimensional form, so that both we and the client can "see" the project before it gets to the working drawings stage. At this point, we are able to compute the total area of the project, the window and door schedules, the volume, etc. as a means to prepare a preliminary construction budget. We communicate with our clients and their contractors via email using PDF images to quickly convey design ideas. |
